To all new users wanting to join the forum:

Besides registering on the forum itself, please also send an email to jeffmoretti@evermoregamestudios.com from the email account with which you registered on the forum.  This will make it easier from me to validate that you are a real user versus a 'bot'.

I will try to get to all registrations as soon as possible, but be aware you may have to wait about 1 week before your account is activated.

Thank you very much for your co-operation and patience Smile

Possible Bug - MathConvertUtil logic appears to be buggy - UPDATE fixes available!
Posted by: jeffmoretti - 06-14-2021, 06:18 PM - Forum: Known Bugs - General - No Replies

It seems that the math logic for resizing/re-positioning objects appears to be buggy and does not place sprites/etc in the expected locations.  You may need to fix this function manually for your purposes in order to properly position/resize sprites

Bugfix ETA for this item - July 2021

UPDATE - June 17, 2021

- logic/math fixes are now available, (as of v0.0.5).  I cannot guarantee this is now 100% fixed, but it is a significant improvement over the previous logic.  Enjoy! Smile

Bug - TextSprite/BitmapText objects do not work - UPDATE Alpha fix now available
Posted by: jeffmoretti - 06-04-2021, 11:17 PM - Forum: Known Bugs - General - No Replies

When you covert your T2D project to a Phaser project, it is known that any 'text' objects (ie TextSprites, in T2D, or BitmapText, in Phaser) will not work properly.  At the time of writing, any text objects that you have in T2D that you want to convert you will have to fix manually (by ether directly modifying the output Phaser code, or by changing the Torque2dMitToPhaserConverter source code to handle these).

Also note that you can expect a fix for this feature in the near future (ETA at time of writing - July 2021)

UPDATE - June 14th, 2021
- there is now 'alpha' support for TextSprite/BitmapText objects (as of v0.0.4)

UPDATE - July 7th, 2021
- text objects now work at 75% 'working' (but better support than before). This is as of v0.1.0. NOTE - However, please note that BitmapText objects are no longer being used, instead text objects are handled as Phaser.GameObjects.Text (at least under the hood) and fonts are handled using Google WebFont Loader (ie webfont.js)

Some things to note about the Torque2dMitToPhaserConverter Forums:

- please note that these forums are not capable of sending out emails - thus, after you register, you must wait until one of the system admins authorize your account.  This will usually take anytime between 24 hours and 72 hours
- any bugs that are known and 'official' (ie confirmed by the Torque2dMitToPhaserConverter team) will be posted in the "Known Bugs - Confirmed" Forum
- any bugs that have been found by other users of the Forums, but are not yet 'confirmed' bugs will be posted in "Bugs (Found by Guests)" Forum
- feel free to log any bugs that you find in the "Bugs (Found By Guests)"
- feel free to use these forums are desired, but please respect people thoughts and feelings whilst doing so

Have fun using the Forums!  I hope these forums help you in your coding travels Smile
